Traveling by air

Nashville is well connected by air, with several airports within easy driving distance of Nashville Superspeedway. While the track doesn’t have its own commercial airport, fans can fly into nearby regional and international hubs and reach the Speedway comfortably by car. Private and charter flights are also popular among teams and guests.

Nashville International Airport (BNA) – Nashville, TN

• Distance to Speedway: Around 30 miles (30–35 minutes by car) east
• Overview: The closest major airport serves extensive domestic and international routes. It’s the most convenient option for race fans heading to the Superspeedway.
• Transport Options: On-site rental cars (Alamo, Avis, Hertz, Enterprise, etc.), rideshares, taxis, and private shuttles all connect directly to the Speedway area.

Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) – Chattanooga, TN

• Distance to Speedway: Around 120 miles (2 hours by car) south
• Overview: A smaller regional airport with daily flights to major U.S. hubs like Atlanta, Dallas, and Charlotte.
• Transport Options: Car rentals available at the terminal, plus private transfer services.

Huntsville International Airport (HSV) – Huntsville, AL

• Distance to Speedway: About 110 miles (2 hours by car) southwest
• Overview: A well-equipped regional airport offering both domestic and limited international flights.
• Transport Options: Full range of car rentals and taxi/rideshare services.

Memphis International Airport (MEM) – Memphis, TN

• Distance to Speedway: Around 230 miles (3.5 hours by car) west
• Overview: One of Tennessee’s largest airports, ideal for fans arriving from the western U.S. or overseas.
• Transport Options: Car hire, private shuttles, and intercity bus links to Nashville.

Private aviation

For private and charter flights, Lebanon Municipal Airport (M54) and Smyrna/Rutherford County Airport (MQY) are excellent options, both located within 15–25 minutes of the Speedway. These smaller airports offer quick and direct access to the venue, making them ideal for corporate travelers and private flyers.
