Traveling by car

Just a few miles east of downtown Nashville, Nashville Superspeedway is one of NASCAR’s most distinctive and modern venues. Famous for its concrete surface and thrilling intermediate-track racing, it hosts major NASCAR events and plenty of fan entertainment throughout the weekend. With the vibrant city of Nashville nearby, your race trip can easily turn into a full weekend getaway.

Because of heavy race-day traffic, it’s strongly recommended to arrive early. If you have a parking pass, check the details carefully, as some lots have specific entry routes. Local police and track attendants will guide vehicles into the appropriate lots as they open.

Directions

• From the West (Downtown Nashville): Take I-40 East to Exit 235 (TN-840 East), then take Exit 65 and follow the signs to the Speedway.
• From the East (Knoxville): Take I-40 West to TN-840 West, then take Exit 65 for the Speedway.
• From the South (Murfreesboro): Take TN-840 East to Exit 65, then follow signs for the Speedway.
• From the North (Clarksville): Take I-24 East toward Nashville, merge onto I-40 East, then follow TN-840 East to Exit 65.

• From Murfreesboro – 25 minutes (30 miles)
• From Franklin – 40 minutes (40 miles)
• From Clarksville – 1 hour 20 minutes (75 miles)

Extra tips

• Expect heavy congestion on I-840 and approaching exits several hours before the race.
• Always follow the directions of the police and attendants, as traffic routes may change depending on flow.
• Use official Speedway lots only – roadside or unauthorized business parking is often restricted.
• Arriving early not only avoids delays but gives you plenty of time to enjoy the Fan Zone and pre-race entertainment before the engines start.
